Effective Home Remedies To Combat Premature Greying

Although grey hair is often associated with ageing, it can occur prematurely due to various other risk factors. Hair that greys prematurely is usually because of hereditary or dietary factors. Stress also influences premature greying as do certain illnesses. Luckily, there are some effective ways to avoid premature greying that can be practiced at home!

Dietary supplements Certain herbs and vitamins are known to reduce stress and premature greying. The deficiency of folic acid has been linked to greying hair. In China, fo-ti also called knotweed is a popular remedy for greying hair. The lack of copper in your body can also lead to your hair losing color. Eating lentils, avocado, garlic, mushroom and soy supplements is a great way to add copper mineral to your diet.

Vitamin B complex keeps your hair healthy and stops it from greying early, especially when it is paired with other essential vitamins and minerals. Consume foods that are rich in iodine. Copper when combined with iodine is super effective. Carrots, bananas and most seafood like lobster, tuna, crab and mackerel are all great sources of iodine.

Drinking just a few ounces of wheatgrass juice for a couple of months is believed to let your hair get back its original color. Wheatgrass is well-known as a super food. It is loaded with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and proteins that will not only give you beautiful hair, but also boost your overall health.

Gooseberry (amla) is also known to be very effective in preventing hair from greying. Coconut oil is easily available at stores and this method can be practiced at home. To use gooseberry, a paste with oil should be made and massaged into the scalp. This helps strengthen the hair follicle and facilitates its pigment retention property. * Butter made from the milk of a cow is also very effective for reversing grey hair. This butter needs to be externally applied onto your scalp.

* One cup of black tea with a tablespoon of salt can be massaged into your scalp. Allow it to soak in for about an hour before washing on thoroughly. It is important for the black tea to be strong.

* Chamomile tea is also a great home remedy to treat premature greying.

* Mix two teaspoons of henna (Mehendi) powder, 1 teaspoon of fenugreek (methi), 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt, 3 teaspoons of coffee and 3 of mint (pudina) juice, and 2 teaspoons of basil (Tulsi) juice. Pore shrinking mask recipes from home

A face with large open pores when seen from close quarters doesn’t look so good. While it’s quite common for oily skins to have a tendency towards open pores, an attack of pimples also leaves ugly scars and open pores behind.  Even though the scars may fade away after some time, open pores appear to be more obstinate and hardly show any signs of shrinking.  Age also takes its toll by giving an uneven/pigmented tone to the skin and making the open pores more prominent. Heredity could also be a contributing factor in determining your pore size. It’s not easy to get rid of these pores or shrink them completely or permanently using serums, lotions or face packs. Even resorting to drastic chemical/surgical procedures at the dermatologist’s isn’t quite capable of giving satisfactory results.  Nevertheless, you can try and minimize their appearance at least temporarily with clever makeup and a few natural skin care masks such as these: * Cleanse your face with a mild ...
