How to Get Longer & Thicker Hair

There are many ways that one can achieve longer and thicker hair. You can try any one of these methods to see which provides you with the best results.

The first method to get your hair to grow longer and thicker is to change your diet. Diets that consist of fast foods are not healthy and stimulating for hair growth. Change your diet to food with protein with a variety of nutrients that are healthy for the body. This includes eggs, lean turkey, fruits, vegetables, and milk. You will begin to see improved hair growth in a few weeks.

Another method is to massage your scalp regularly. Make sure to use oils that will stimulate follicles in the hair. Oils that you can use may include olive oil, almond oil, and jojoba oil. Massaging on a regular basis will make your hair shiny and stimulating the follicles will encourage hair growth. Vitamin E is a major component of these oils that helps to repair damaged hair.

For long and thick hair it’s also important to trim your hair. Sometimes cutting one's hair can be scary. Don’t cut the hair just trim the split ends. By simply trimming the ends the damaged part of the hair will be removed allowing for healthy hair growth. Those inexperienced with cutting hair should visit a professional to insure the split ends are cut properly.

Aloe Vera gel can also be applied to your hair at least one day a week. The healing properties available using Aloe Vera help to repair damaged hair and hair follicles. This will lead to fuller hair in areas that are starting to thin. Raw egg can also be applied to damaged hair. The egg has calcium and protein to make your hair stronger and lessen hair damage over time.

A conditioner should be applied each time you bath or shower. Regular conditioning of your hair makes it less likely to split due to it being too dry. Apply a deep conditioning product that you can purchase at any hair salon or salon supply store at least two times a week. You can also use keratin products if you need to help restore the condition of damaged hair.

If you need a different way to help treat your hair, then consider vitamins for hair growth. Vitamins are a great way to ensure that your body is getting the nutrients it needs to help grow healthy hair. You can find a variety of vitamin supplements at a health store or at many websites on the Internet. This will be an easy and effective way to promote faster hair growth. Make sure that you take this supplement on a daily basis to ensure you are getting the proper amount of nutrients.

Natural hair care solutions are the best option to treat damaged hair. Eliminating chemicals will lead to improved hair growth when combined with the proper diet and a daily vitamin regimen. Your hair will also benefit by using ceramic tools and laying it flat. Applying a vitamin-rich lotion to your hair before drying is also an option.

Massage small amounts of fresh or canned coconut milk into the scalp and keep overnight if possible or at least for a few hours. This procedure will help hair grow longer, thicker and also make your hair look soft and shiny.

Theres no magic that will make your hair thicker or longer fast. The real way you can make your hair healthier is by your diet...from the inside out. Drink lots of water and protein such as peanuts and meat or fish. Also don't dye it a lot and put it under stress. I think wearing it in braids before bed helps to protect it.

Any form of exercise increases and improves blood circulation to all parts of the body, including the scalp. It is believed that increased blood supply to the cells in hair follicles will maintain their health and stimulate hair production.

A variety of herbs are recommended, to include Rosemary, Sage, Nettle and Burdock. The advice is to boil them together, strain off the leaves, and wash the hair with the solution every day.
