Use a good natural exfoliator once or twice a week. A light scrubbing agent will remove dead skin cells and speed up skin cell renewal which slows down as we age. Regular exfoliation is a great way to rejuvenate the face and allow for better absorption of your facial mask and other skin care products. It also helps keep the pores from becoming clogged which can lead to breakouts suck as acne and blackheads. The pores will appear smaller as a result of exfoliation, and hyperpigmentation or skin discoloration will be corrected over time. After exfoliating the face for a couple minutes, rinse with warm water and blot dry.
There are several highly effective exfoliators that you can make right in your own home.
  • Honey, Papaya, and Oatmeal. This combination is high in fruit enzymes and will brighten dull skin tone, bring radiance to mature skin, and deeply moisturize.
  • Honey, Olive Oil, and Brown Sugar. This mixture has glycolic acid to unclog the pores, soften, and smooth the skin.
  • Lemon Juice, Aloe Vera, and Cornmeal. Rich with alpha hydroxy acid, this combination is a natural skin lightener, evens the skin tone, and removes excess oil. It also helps prevent breakouts and keep a clear complexion.
After exfoliating the face for skin cell renewal and rejuvenation, apply an all-natural mud or clay-based facial mask. Pure mud and clay possess active botanical ingredients that open the skin’s pores, provide a really deep cleansing, and firm and tighten the skin. As the organic mud dries on the face, it’s extracts impurities from the skin, leaving the pores cleaner, and the skin tighter. As a result of this impurity extraction, acne can be treated and prevented, and the overall complexion of the face will improve with each application. After letting a clay-based facial mask dry on the face, rinse thoroughly with warm water and blot dry. Follow up with a good moisturizing cream with SPF sun protection.

Aloe gel helps to maintain the natural moisture of the skin by lingering down the natural evaporative process and drawing moisture from the atmosphere. It retards the aging process, rejuvenates the damaged skin, sloughs off old dead cells and cleans the clogged skin pores. Aloe vera detoxifies the skin by removing wastes and toxins. It is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that nourish the skin.
