Lightning Fast Hair and Makeup Tips

For the busy ladies out there that are always on the go (do you know a woman that doesn't fit this description?), spending time on hair and makeup can seem like a worthless hassle. In truth, this time-consuming task is not necessarily a time-waster. After all, looking your best will boost your confidence and change the way that others react to you. The problem is that you have so many more important things to do with your limited time. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to get the look you want with less time commitment. Here are just a few hair and makeup tips that are sure to have you looking great in no time.

The best place to start is with a clean, clear palette. Daily showers are a must, and you should also develop a beauty routine to ensure that your skin is free of dirt, oil, and blemishes. You should include a moisturizer with sunblock to keep your skin glowing and avoid the UV damage that can prematurely age you. And when it comes to your hair, keep the roots touched up and the ends trimmed. All of these preparatory steps will ensure that you are halfway to your beauty benchmark the minute you roll out of bed, significantly reducing the time spent sprucing yourself up on a day-to-day basis.

Even with a flawless façade to start, you will no doubt want to add a little finish. And you don't have to spend an hour in front of the mirror to do it. With a few key products and some practice under your belt you can leave the house looking fantastic with just a few minutes of effort each day. In most cases you can find products that will do double duty so that you can get the same effect in a fraction of the time. For example, several companies now make tinted moisturizes (with an SPF rating) so that you can get the hydration and coverage you want without having to use two different creams. You can also find color compacts that double up as a cream blush and lipstick (or stain). Most can be applied with your fingers so that you don't have to waste time searching for a variety of application tools.

If you really want to look your best, though, your five-minute face should include, at the bare minimum, a bit of blush to instantly brighten your face and add a youthful flush, some mascara and highlighter (under the eyes and on the inside corner) to open your eyes and make you look rested, and a swipe of lip balm (or even gloss) to keep your pout pretty. As for your hair, you don't have to go for the full blow-out and flat-iron routine in order to look good.

If your hair is short, a good cut will go a long way towards fixing itself, and all you need is a towel-dry and some styling cream to spice it up. For longer hair, run some shine serum through with your fingers while wet and pull it back in a simple ponytail or bun (go high on the head for chic style) and secure it with a couple of cute clips (nab fly-aways with pins or an elastic headband). It only takes a few minutes in the morning to look great all day (with some practice you can practically time it via the stopwatch feature on http://stopwatch.onlineclock.net). Even if you don't want to waste time looking good for the benefit of others, think about how good you'll feel when you spend a few minutes of each day doing something nice for yourself.

To match the light hair color, use a light brown eyebrow pencil.
For blush, brush on Delice in iced Cinnamon.
For finishing touch, Glam Shine Cream in Sweet Nude, a sheer lip color, it will give you a dewy look.

Natural remedies for dark circles around your eyes

Dark circles around your eyes. How unsightly they look and even your best dress and layers of make-up sometimes does not quite succeed in concealing them! Blame it on your genes or your lifestyle, but, you cannot deny the fact that these are a blot on your beauty . And they become more prominent as you age. Let’s just debunk some of the myths as well as unearth some of the facts about the causes of these ‘ panda eyes ’.   Dark circles under eyes usually are temporary and not a medical concern. Home remedies for common cold

Common cold is a very common malady which affects people during monsoons. (Also see the post Beauty and body care in monsoon for a monsoon beauty regimen.) It can be caused by any one of more than 200 viruses. Normally it is confined to the nose and throat although the virus can infect the larynx and lungs. Treatment is just an attempt to relieve its symptoms such as headache, stuffy nose, sore-throat and congestion. Paracetamol tablets are generally taken to get relief from these symptoms.

It is very difficult to come across a happy, contented face in a crowd these days. Stress has become a way of life with people these days. Sure, we all need to be a little tense once in a blue moon. After all it acts as a positive force and helps us get things done. But when tension becomes a habit with us and we are unable to cope up with it, we say we are undergoing stress. Some people are simply born more tense than others. Children of over-anxious parents generally grow up to be more anxious than the others.

For a good night's sleep

Everyone of us, at one time or the other has been pestered by sleep problems. Sleeplessness could be transient and short-term or chronic. When it becomes a chronic problem it takes the form of insomnia and requires special attention. The first noticeable signs of poor sleeping habits are dark circles under the eyes pale skin, hair loss. Getting enough sleep is a must. Without proper sleep, your mind does not work as clearly and efficiently. You feel drained physically and mentally. Exactly how much you need to sleep depends on your own individual internal system. While some can do with 4-5 hours; most of us need 7 to 9 hours of sleep. But instead of reaching for a pill or a glass of wine, it’s wise to try out these time-honoured remedies and lifestyle changes.
