3 Safe and Sexy Body Contouring Procedures

Feeling sexy is important and helps develop self-confidence. If you look and feel your best, you can put your best foot forward whether it is in business, friendships or other relationships. Sometimes, you may need a little help to boost that self-confidence to the next level.

Body contouring procedures are performed to help enhance areas of the body that may be less than perfect. The procedures usually involve removing fat, tightening skin and reshaping areas that need contouring. There are risks involved but these procedures are considered safe for qualified candidates.

4 Body Contouring Procedures That are Safe and Sexy

Liposuction

Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures performed. Even with diet and exercise, there are sometimes areas of fat that will not budge. Results vary but most of the time patients are happy with the sexy results that follow with this contouring procedure.

The most popular areas that fat is removed from are the abdomen, flanks and thighs. It is an invasive procedure but can be very successful if performed by a qualified surgeon. Having a consultation with a licensed, certified surgeon will help you to determine if you are a good candidate for this type of procedure.

Tummy Tuck

Many people are unhappy with the look of their stomach. Whether their dissatisfaction is the result of child birth, extreme weight loss or other reason, a tummy tuck can be a good solution.

During this procedure, excess skin and fat is removed from the abdominal area. The stomach is smoothed out and the skin over top is tightened.

There are different types of tummy tucks available and a good Utah plastic surgeon or one in your area will work with you to decide which procedure is best for you.

Arm and Thigh Lift

Another popular procedure for body contouring is an arm or thigh lift. This is a great way to get rid of "bat wings" on the arms or flabby skin on the inner thigh. This is a surgery usually done when there is extreme weight loss or aging.

The skin loses elasticity and can become flabby. The procedure tightens the skin and the results are seen right away. However, the recovery is a little more difficult since people use their arms and legs all the time.

Making the decision to have body contouring surgery is not an easy one. It is a personal choice and the patient must decide if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. Choosing a certified surgeon with experience is important in this decision making process.

You will only lose as much weight with the surgery as the skin they remove and any fat they may lipo too, weighs. For most people this is only a couple of pounds.
