Pears Oil Clear Face Wash:Review

I've used both Pears Original Transparent soap and Pears Oil Control Soaps. While Pears Original Transparent soap with glycerine is specially for those with dry to normal skin, I have found it great for winters. On the other hand, Pears Oil control Soap is specially formulated for oily skins and does its job exceedingly well, not to mention the sweet lingering fragrance that it leaves behind. So when I happened to spot Pears Oil Clear Cleansing Face Wash with lemon flower extracts at a shopping mall, I knew I had to buy it.
My Review:
Pears Oil Clear Face Wash The gel inside the tube is pale-greenish in colour and only a pea sized amount is required to cleanse your face and neck thoroughly. It lathers well and I quite liked the strong lemony fragrance that you get to whiff as you are rinsing your face. It leaves my face thoroughly cleansed and squeaky clean without that dry and taut feeling. A little goes a long way; I have been using this twice a day for more than a month, and I haven't even completed half a tube. Though  I haven't experienced too many breakouts during this period and my oily skin isn't looking as shiny, I think I should attribute this to a more sensible diet and good skin care regimen rather than to a mere 'facewash'.  By the way, it costs around Rs.54/- for 60g, but I got it for Rs 49/-. Overall, I think it's a decently priced, great cleanser for oily skin and would love to repurchase it. Not too sure, if it's the same one, but you can also get it at Amazon.

Full list of Ingredients as mentioned on the tube:
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance, Dimethicone Copolyol, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylchloroisothiazolinone & Methylisothiazolinone, BHT, Disodium EDTA, Benzophenone-3, Lemon (Citrus Medica Limonum) Flower Extract, Cl 42090, Cl 47005

This made my skin feel very dry and tight. My skin is normal to dry and it just doesn’t suit my skin. I guess it should be only used by oily skinned people. Please do not buy if you have dry skin.

Wash your face in the morning and at night before going to bed. Washing it constantly throughout the day can cause more acne-related problems so I would suggest no more than 2 times a day. It may take a while for the acne to go away so do not expect immediate results. If after 3 weeks your skin condition isn't improving I suggest changing the brand of face wash or seeing a dermatologist.

If you want to use a scrub of some sort, you should scrub first then wash. Also, use a face moisturizer after washing to prevent your skin from drying out.

I use a face wash called Purity from the Philosophy company. It works great, especially when I use Clinique's Acne Spot Healing Gel as well.

“Do not over wash your skin” it’s really bad to over wash your face.Over washing our face or using strong detergents actually strips all the natural oils off the skin.stripping off the natural oils means a need to add more moisture on.

Pore shrinking mask recipes from home

A face with large open pores when seen from close quarters doesn’t look so good. While it’s quite common for oily skins to have a tendency towards open pores, an attack of pimples also leaves ugly scars and open pores behind.  Even though the scars may fade away after some time, open pores appear to be more obstinate and hardly show any signs of shrinking.  Age also takes its toll by giving an uneven/pigmented tone to the skin and making the open pores more prominent. Heredity could also be a contributing factor in determining your pore size. It’s not easy to get rid of these pores or shrink them completely or permanently using serums, lotions or face packs. Even resorting to drastic chemical/surgical procedures at the dermatologist’s isn’t quite capable of giving satisfactory results.  Nevertheless, you can try and minimize their appearance at least temporarily with clever makeup and a few natural skin care masks such as these: * Cleanse your face with a mild ...
