Biotique's Worst Product - Biotique Almond Under Eye Cream

I don't have puffy eyes, but of late, I noticed that there is a significant discoloration of  skin under my eyes --   I would hate to use the word dark circles, but I have to admit that the discoloration is quite prominent.

So while on the quest for a suitable under eye cream, I came across  Biotique's Bio-Almond -- an almond undereye cream that is supposed to brighten under eye area and eliminate puffiness.

My review:
I was impressed by the amount of natural ingredients in it. It has Oils of Nutmeg (jaiphal tail), Almond (badam tail), Sunflower (surajmukhi tail), Quince Seed Gel (Bihidana Luvab), Vitamin A, C, E and a cream base. It comes in a small green coloured jar and the cream itself is a bit thick.

Only a tiny bit is required to cover the whole under eye area. I applied the cream in small dots  and gently massaged the under eye skin every night.

But, sad to say, even after using it for over two months, I  hardly noticed any difference in the under eye area. I feel that it does nothing else apart from keeping your under eye area hydrated.  Also I hate to put my fingers into the jar each time and the cream has started to dry as well.

I think I should have transferred some of it into a smaller jar before using it. Also I could have had used a Q-tip, instead of my fingers to extract the contents and dot the eye area. To conclude, I am terribly disappointed with this eye cream and wish I had never purchased it.

  1. Hey,

I too have used this product and sadly have had an similar experience.

This cream did almost nothing for the undereye area.

The bioweed under eye gel is quite useless. In fact it dried up my under eye skin and caused more lines. Also caused some rash around the area. Please avoid.
