I often use an egg yolk and honey mask. Just mix one egg yolk with a little honey and spread it on your face and neck. When it dries, rinse it off. Your skin will feel so fresh and soft!

Many fruits and vegetables can also be used to good effect. Anything acidic (lemon, strawberries, etc) will tend to whiten and refresh your skin, but you need to be careful if your skin is dry.

Don't apply masks more often than about twice a week, and try to vary the ingredients. It is a good idea to test the mask first. Apply a small amount behind your ear, wait 20 minutes, then wash off. Then wait 24 hours. If the skin behind your ear is normal, then go ahead and use the mask.

Less than a month after switching from commercial soaps, scrubs, masks and moisturizers, my face has gone from being acne and dry skin prone (around my nose and forehead) to being smooth and small-pored.

Face Masks have an deep cleansing action on the skin, removing impurities, wastes and dead skin cells. As a result, blood circulation to the skin surface also improves greatly, leaving the skin glowing and refreshed. A beauty facial mask should be chosen according to individual requirements.

honey is a FANTASTIC moisturizer. Avocado and olive oil are also. Apple cider vinegar balances ph. I use it when my scalp gets really dry and itchy, I just pour some over my head after shampooing and leave it. I'm not sure about the others.

Facial should be done with feather touch only. Because hard massage pulls the skin and makes it loose.

A small word of caution: before you apply any mask, we recommend you do a patch test on a small piece of skin (e.g. behind the ear) to test your sensitivity to it

Pore shrinking mask recipes from home

A face with large open pores when seen from close quarters doesn’t look so good. While it’s quite common for oily skins to have a tendency towards open pores, an attack of pimples also leaves ugly scars and open pores behind.  Even though the scars may fade away after some time, open pores appear to be more obstinate and hardly show any signs of shrinking.  Age also takes its toll by giving an uneven/pigmented tone to the skin and making the open pores more prominent. Heredity could also be a contributing factor in determining your pore size. It’s not easy to get rid of these pores or shrink them completely or permanently using serums, lotions or face packs.
