Tired of Cellulite Skin? 5 Simple Home Remedies That Really Work

Let's face it; cellulite is definitely not a very attractive trait to have on your body. Even though it isn't a serious health problem it can be embarrassing when you go to the beach or pool and you have an unattractive dimpled skin on your hips, buttocks, or thighs. This problem is usually an issue reserved for females, but men can experience this uneven fatty tissue beneath the skin too.

How Do You Get It?
You may be wondering how do you develop cellulite in the first place. You can develop cellulite if you wear tight undergarment that reduces blood flow to your buttocks. Your diet can also contribute to the formation of cellulite.

If you are overweight you’re most likely going to experience some cellulite formation. Even your hormones and genes can cause you to develop cellulite.

Prevention
You can prevent cellulite by eating properly and avoiding certain things in your diet like processed foods. Compliment your diet with a good workout routine and you should be fine. Women can avoid developing cellulite around their buttocks and thigh area by wearing looser underwear that doesn't have tight elastic.

Home Remedies That Work

Seaweed has been used for years as a home remedy to eliminate cellulite and other skin imperfections cheaply. If you aren't lucky enough to be living near an Asian market where you can find seaweed sheets, you should be able to find them in the Asian section at stores like Walmart.
Draw your hot bath water and then add 4 to 5 sheets of the seaweed to it and let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes. After about ten to fifteen minutes the water should be cool enough for you get in and soak in it.
Soak in this bath for at least 30 minutes before rinsing off. You will need to take this seaweed bath one time every week to achieve the best results.

Getting a Massage
There are some non-believers when it comes to using massages to get rid of cellulite on the skin. However, if you know what you are doing the massage will increase the blood flow into the fat deposit areas that causes the cellulite to form. Using proper massaging techniques to break down the fat cells in the skin and improve the blood flow so the toxins that are positioned between the tissues leave. You should also think about using some kind of natural massaging oil while you massage the area. Lavender is a good choice because it's properties are known to assist with stimulating fat cells.

Using Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is effective in getting rid of cellulite because it will help improve your bile production, which is essential for burning fat. Squeeze the juice out of two to three lemons and add it to a liter of water.
Drink this lemon and water mixture at least once each day. Another thing you can do with the lemon juice and water mixture is add a little cayenne pepper to it. Drinking this lemon juice mixture will help make your skin firm up in the affected areas and also make you feel better.

Juniper Oil and Olive Oil
Combining some juniper oil and olive oil together and applying it to the affected areas has been known to fade away cellulite. However, this home remedy may take about four weeks until you start seeing results. Simply combine 3 parts of the juniper oil with 1 part of the olive oil to make a solution you can apply to your skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has been proven to remove both stretch marks and cellulite. To use as a home remedy simply soak your hands in the vinegar and directly apply to the affected areas. Before you apply the vinegar it will be even more effective if you rub ground coffee onto the cellulite on your skin first.

You can also use the vinegar to eliminate cellulite by making a body wrap. Mix a cup of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water and apply it to the affected areas and then wrap it using plastic wrap.
These are some of the best ways to get rid of your cellulite naturally. Remember to also follow a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine to get rid of this embarrassing problem faster.
