Eyebrows shaping and care

The most expressive features of our face are the eyes and the eyebrows; our moods and thoughts are reflected through them. Eyebrows are usually the most neglected part of a person’s face. However, few people realize the role they play in balancing your features. They draw attention to the eyes like a picture frame. Too bushy or too highly arched eyebrows will spoil the end-result of your makeup. They can be made to look very attractive and perfect, even if they are not, as you can have the shape changed to your advantage. Properly shaped eyebrows can even camouflage some of the other imperfect features of your face, such as a broad nose, closed-in eyes etc.

Eyebrow shaping
Eyebrow-shaping is not as simple as most of you would think it to be. Seek the advice of beauty experts, specially trained to deal with different faces, to tell you exactly what will suit you. Remember these points when you shape your eyebrows.
*If you are getting your eyebrows shaped for the first time, it is better to have them shaped from a professional by threading.
* Threading is ideal for shaping eyebrows. In this method, a knot is made and hair is taken out from the roots with the help of a moving thread run with fingers.
* The normal shape of the eyebrow should be a tapering one: thicker at the beginning, and thinning gradually.
* Do not give an exaggerated curve to your eyebrows. Your eyebrows should be a bit longer than your eyes.
* Do not give a pencil-thin shape to your eyebrows. It gives an unnatural look.
* Do not have your eyebrows far apart if you happen to have a big and broad nose.
* Normally, the distance between the two eyebrows should be equal to the width of your eye.
* You can look after the eyebrows and maintain the shape by using a plucker or a tweezer to remove any stray hairs that may grow. Tweezers are very easy to work with.
* To begin with, take a mascara brush and brush your eyebrows to their natural shape.
* Tweeze your hair immediately after bath because at that time your skin pores will be open and plucking will be less painful.
* Pluck the hair in the direction of its growth and pull out one hair at a time and par on an astringent.
* Do not start plucking inside the eyebrows. Start from below, moving up by tweezing one hair at a time.
* Do not use scissors, but regular brushing will bring your eyebrows to the desired shape.
* Be careful while threading or tweezing your eyebrows, because once plucked, they can take months to eventually grow back. Until that happens, fill in bare spots with a brow powder or eyebrow pencil. Instead of drawing a definite line, use light, feathery strokes.
* Do not use a hair remover to shape your eyebrows.
* Eyebrows need to be reshaped at least once in 10-15 days.

Care of Eyebrows
Eyebrows and eyelashes should be brushed daily with a small brush. Rub them with olive oil, coconut oil or castor oil to encourage hair growth. For cleansing and nourishment of eyebrows, rub them with a little egg white and rinse off after 10 minutes.

Brush your eyebrows straight up with an eyebrow brush. Using small straight scissors, carefully trim any hairs that are curly or too long. Then brush the brows back into their natural shape. Hold a pencil along the side of your nose to ensure that the inner edge of your brow lines up with the inside corner of your eye.Move the pencil so that it intersects with your iris. The arch of your brow should line up with the pencil. Angle the pencil from the outside edge of your nose to the outer corner of your eye to determine where your brow should end. Tweeze where necessary and fill in with a soft pencil or powder. Brush with an eyebrow brush and apply eyebrow gel to keep strays in place. You're done!

Natural eyebrows are the best. Brush them up and use a clear mascara to hold them in place

for the start of the eyebrow- take a eyeliner pencil and start at the corner of the eyes and go up. thats wear they'll start.length or eyebrow- go to the end or you eye and draw up. thats wear they'll end.for the arch- find the middle of the eye and go straight up. now pencil in with the eyebrow brush were to pluck everything out of the line is waht you pluck.
if shes scared to pluck -- take her to get her eyebrows waxed it usually ranges anywhere from 5-15 dollars. then pluck them to keep the shape.

keep your face clean right before and after you get threaded. Ask your threader to use a new clean thread for you, and to use some anti-bacterial hand sanitizer. After wards, keep your hands away from your face! Wash it with mild soap or what ever you regularly use to wash your face. Apply some aloe or even a facial toner.
Try this a bit and it should help.

Brows should be strong. If there are some more sparse areas, fill in with a brow pencil and soften the lines with a Q-tip or angled eyebrow brush.

Eyes are the most important part of body. When one says that someone is good looking or ugly, you are talking about his or her eyes (and head shape). I am always attracted to women with beautiful eyes.

Awesome tips…Some tips I use myself are:
When I feel my brows have become thin, I try and let them grow out more than usual. But to make it seem like my eyebrows are still groomed, I use concealer and a brow brush. First I cover my lids with concealer and with a small synthetic brush I carefully outline the bottom eyebrow to create a crisp, clean line then use the eyebrow pencil as needed.
Outline the desired shape of your eyebrows with a white eye pencil, and tweeze all of the hairs which are white and those strays outside of that.
I also prefer a slanted tip tweezer as opposed to the pointed tip tweezers, they are easier to use. When tweezing, pull one hair at a time then move back and look in the mirror from a distance. One removed hair make a huge difference, this will help prevent you from making a mistake. Should you make a mistake, eyebrow pencils are great.

Your eyebrows are the most important feature of your eyes, so make sure that you have them shaped to enhance your beautiful eyes. Eyebrows that are well shaped provide space to allow your shadow to show, and for your lashes to curl into. This will give you some artistic license when applying your eye makeup.

I have a round face, so, angular shape of the eyebrows would be the most appropriate, right? How thick should eyebrows be nowadays?

  20. In case your brows are spotty and patchy, it will also have an effect on your appearance. A lot of women use a brow pencil to fill in their brows.

"Eyebrows are very important"“If you have the right thickness and shape, I feel they define your face.”"What many tend to do is go to a salon and keep threading and threading the brows, and one day they’re left with pencil thin eyebrows”.

Beauty secrets... Have you tried plucking your eyebrows? That frames your eyes.. go on bbc.co.uk/slink for how to do it.
Eyes, for brown eyes I'd use a brown eyeliner, follow the root of the eyelashes at the bottom, and for the top look up, and you should see the skin below/behind the eyelashes, then use brown mascara. Make sure your eyeliner isn't too dark or you'll look emo :)
