woman peeling bananaBanana as a home beauty aid is quite popular around the world! In Jamaica, especially, women use both the pulp and peels on their skin for that fantastic glow. After peeling the banana, they rub the inner part of the peels on the face and neck and follow it up with a banana mask made by crushing the banana pulp with a few drops of olive oil added to it. This is allowed to stay for about 15 minutes and then rinsed off with cold water to get fresh, smooth, radiant and rejuvenated facial skin.

Another Tip
I heard about the banana thing and thinking of the potassium content, I crushed a potassium pill and made a paste then applied it to the wart and covered it with a band aid. Mich easier than a banana peal. It worked.

Bananas are also loaded with soothing properties that help in reducing skin inflammation.Applying the pulp of banana on the face, after mashing, helps in making the skin supple and soft.

The peel of banana contains antioxidants and potassium, so simply rubbing it on your skin can be very helpful. It is known to be helpful in clearing acne as well. Applying banana on the face enhances the glow on your face. You can even mix the pulp of banana with honey in order to give a moisturizing effect on your skin.
