Shriya Saran's Homemade Beauty Secrets

Shriya Saran
The gorgeous South Indian actress Sriya Saran (read her biography here) abides by the "less is more" policy and uses as little as she can for her face. She loves Rosewater (Gulab Jal) and carries a small bottle of rosewater mist (try Organic Hydrating Mist Rosewater Toner or Reviva Rose Facial Spray) to spray as often as possible. She says that it instantly freshens up her face and makes it radiant. "I sometimes spray it (rosewater) on my face, after putting on my makeup for a beautiful glow.", she adds. Also she uses rosewater and glycerine (try Heritage Products Rosewater & Glycerin) as a moisturizer cum toner. "As for cleansing my face nothing works better than the  good old Besan (chickpea flour) (Buy here) mixed with turmeric (haldi) (Buy here) and yogurt (curds)", she reveals.

Raw honey is naturally anti-bacterial and a super quick way to get soft, beautiful skin. Once a week use a tablespoon or so of raw honey (not the processed stuff parading as honey) and gently warm it by rubbing your fingertips together. Spread on your face. Leave on for 5 – 10 minutes and then use warm water to gently rinse it off and pat dry. Then bask in the glow of your honey-awesomeness. This raw honey is awesome, by the way.

Aspirin has been around for a long time and its health benefits are wide and varied. Aspirin , or acetylsalicylic acid is a salicylate drug, often used as an analgesic to relieve minor aches and pains , as an antipyretic to reduce fever , and as an anti-inflammatory medication. Aspirin's greatest benefit is reducing cardiovascular events including heart attacks and strokes.
