Underweight - <18.5
Normal weight - 18.5-24.9
Overweight - 25-29.9
Obesity - BMI of 30 or greater
And they are put into a chart with percentiles:
Underweight- Less than the 5th percentile
Healthy weight- 5th percentile to less than the 85th percentile
At risk of overweight- 85th to less than the 95th percentile
Overweight-Equal to or greater than the 95th percentile
