Do you dream of having waist-length hair? Many women want their hair long instantly but that isn't possible. However, there are some natural and effective ways to accelerate hair growth. Are you curious to know what will help to make your hair grow much faster? Then check out our suggestions.
Massage Your Scalp
Oil scalp massages are said to be very healthful. They make hair much softer and thicker. Some people believe that oils can also help improve hair growth. We're not completely convinced that's actually true but healthy hair is likely to grow much faster. And as mentioned earlier – giving oil massages to your scalp does good to your hair.

What type of oils should you use? Generally, olive oils, coconut oil and jojoba oil are best. There also are some homemade hair treatments that will work just fine. They include ingredients such as bananas, egg yolks and whites, olive oil, almond oil, etc. Google some DIY recipes for hair growth and you're done.

Use Egg Whites
Being rich in nutritional vitamins, egg whites can accelerate hair growth. Or so it is believed. Their healing properties can improve your hair, making it shiny and soft instantly. What you should do is to make a mask for your hair containing egg whites. Rub your scalp with the mask and let sit for 10 minutes. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

Cut Your Hair Regularly
It seems completely out of the question to trim your hair while you're trying to make it longer. But in fact it stands to reason to do so. You must have heard that regular cuts help your hair grow much faster than usual. The reason is that over time, as hair grows, there appear a number of split ends. Unless you take care of them, your hair will become very unhealthy and you may not be able to achieve the results you want so soon.
So, how often should you trim your hair? Professional hairdressers say it should be every eight weeks or so. Besides trimming your hair doesn't mean shortening. In fact only one fourth of an inch of your hair cut is necessary to remove dead ends.

Let Hair Dry on Its Own
Sometimes, it's not about what you do, it's about what you don't. Stop blow drying your hair and let it dry on its own. If you can't, at least try to use the hairdryer less frequently. Your hair will be better off without too much heat. See, heat can damage your hair and cause split ends. As a result it will slow down hair growth.

Eat Vitamin B
If you don't get enough vitamin B, your hair will be weak and dry. It needs this supplement to grow. Get more vitamin B from nuts, fish, peppers, dried fruits, spinach, avocados, bananas, sunflower seeds and others. You can also take multivitamin.

Eat More Protein
Protein is great for your overall health as well as for you hair growth. Hence, consuming more protein-rich foods will make a difference. Try to cut down on unhealthy food and change your diet for the better. Include foods like eggs, meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, nuts and fish, which are rich in protein.

Last but not least, it's important to keep your hair clean. However, it doesn't mean you should wash it every day. Too much washing can thin your hair, making it weak and easy to break. On the other side, if it is unclean, its growth will be slowed down significantly.

We hope you understand that having thick, shiny and healthy hair is key to accelerating its growth.

You can turn your head upside down and rub your head for 30 seconds, it helps getting blood flowing. Try not to straighten or curl your hair because that kills your hair. They say to cut of your dead ends but I don't really see a point because that just makes it shorter, and then when it starts growing again you'll have more dead ends. There are some shampoos that make your hair strong and shiny.. that might help make your hair grow faster.

  5. One needs to eat healthy food, clean hair regularly, drink plenty of water and sleep properly for healthy and shining hair.

Follow these routine tips at home to prevent hair from damage:

    · Keep your hair clean. It will prevent dandruff, itching and hair lice, which ultimately result in hair fall.

    · Use a shampoo and conditioner depending on your hair type.

    · Massage your scalp regularly with lukewarm oil at least twice a month. You can choose coconut oil, olive oil or almond oil for your hair.

    · Never comb your hair when it is wet. The roots of the hair are weakest when they are wet. Keep the hair wrapped in a towel for a while then let it dry naturally as excess usage of hair dryer damages the texture of hair and makes it weak resulting in hair fall.
