In the initial stages of pregnancy, a dramatic increase of blood begins to flow to your baby to support its development. By the time you are ready to deliver, your heart has been pumping fifty percent more blood during pregnancy then when you weren’t pregnant. This increase in blood flow can cause what many consider to be the glow of an expectant mother. For others, it can be a bad case of Rosacea. It’s important during those hot flashes to stay indoors and turn up the air conditioning. Be sure to carry a constant supply of fresh, mineral water, which will help you stay cool. If your Rosacea breakouts continue, try to counteract the redness with a loose powder that has more yellow tones. This will help neutralize your color and keep you cool. Make a note to skip the foundation because this will only make your face feel hotter. Some products like liquid powder neutralizers cool the skin on and help your face look less flushed.

During pregnancy, your body is producing many hormones that can stimulate your skin to produce more melanin than usual. It is not uncommon to see dark patches of skin forming on your cheeks, or forehead in the second trimester. This can be attributed to a condition called Melasma, which can be further irritated by UV rays. To keep your skin healthy during pregnancy, always remember to wear sunscreen outdoors and to avoid overexposure. The condition usually goes away after a few weeks and can be covered up easily with concealer. This makeup product is a beauty must-have to hide those unwanted blemishes during pregnancy.

Depending on the individual, acne get either improve, or get worse. Acne breakouts can occur in unexpected areas like the chest and back, and can be a nuisance for some. Many women also notice their skin getting oilier during pregnancy. When treating your acne, it is important to read all of the listed ingredients in a product. Most creams and prescription strength medications for acne are not recommended if you are pregnant. Be sure to consult your doctor if trying a new medication. Sometimes all it takes is a non-allergenic face wash to help unclog pores and remove dirt.

When you are pregnant, it is important to look and feel your best. When combating raging hormones, zits, and hot flashes, it can be difficult to enjoy the pregnancy process. Try your best to avoid things that can be harmful to your skin, which will in return help you enjoy this exciting time.

The skin problem that you are to confront during the crucial nine months must not be treated with the usual acne medicines. Consult a dermatologist who can prescribe you the ways to take care of your skin.

Pregnant mother should ensure that the cosmetics that they chose to use must not contain vitamin a preparations. At the same time, they must make it a point of avoiding antibiotics at large. It has been noticed that both kinds of medicines cause birth related problems. Use moisturizers and cleansers whose labels specifically indicate that they are noncomedogenic. Do not use chemical exfoliants. These may contains certain acidic ingredients that may bring complications, especially in your first trimester. Avoid using moisturizing soaps; instead use gentle non drying cleansers. Apply sun block creams and natural masks to keep the skin pores clean and open.

When it comes to wearing makeup during pregnancy,
all you really need to put your best face forward are few multipurpose products.A foundation stick that doubles as concealer is great for covering under-eye circles and blemishes, and for evening out skin tone. Chubby pencils are foolproof for smudging on eyes, lips, and cheeks and they won't take up much room in your bag. If you're the kind of person who won't leave the house without lipstick, make sure it's moisturizing and contains sun protection. For a polished look, finish up with a coat of washable, waterproof mascara and you're ready for the day.

I would just like to remind all the ladies out there, that yes, we all want to avoid chemicals in our food, milk and our household while being pregnant. It is very important. I also want to remind everyone that there are alot of chemicals in skincare today, and pregnant women should only use chemical free or Organic face creams.

Your skin is an organ - that you are sharing with your unborn child. Any chemicals applied to your skin will feed the growth of your child. And please do your research on the internet regarding chemicals in skin care products.

My personal recommendation, is the Made from Earth product line. They are completely chemical free and organic, and their products have a shelf life of 6 months, because they are not presevred with chemicals, but they do use quality ingredients
