My first Mother's Day as a Mother, I spent in the hospital. My son was born late March, and was still in the hospital. I will never forget the feeling of sadness, yet such joy. Seeing my son all snuggled up in his hospital crib, fighting so hard to keep on going, was just surreal. I cherish that moment with everything in me, not knowing if it was going to be my last Mother's Day as a Mother. Today, he is 3 years old, and every mother's day is just that much more special.

I am a new mom, so my best Mother's Day memory is cuddling with my weeks old baby twins. I didn't need more that that. theprophecygirl at hotmail dot com

My mom always said that the best gift I ever gave her was the most creative. At the time I was working part time as an assistant in a four grade class and I had all of the kids write down what their favorite thing about their mom (or person closest to a mom) was. I them compiled it into a book and gave it to my mom as a Mother's day gift! She loved it, and of course, she cried.

Thank you!

I love going out with my mom to a nice restaurant or simply get ice cream on mother's day. O_Leo_5(at)hotmail(dot)com
