Giveaway: Win Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion

If you were on the lookout for a moisturizer or a shielding lotion to protect your skin from the harsh winter air, then look no further. Simply enter this giveaway for a chance to win one full sized (4 oz) bottle of Skin MD Shielding Lotion worth $18 for free.

About Skin MD Shielding lotion
Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion – It’s a natural, green-friendly product that is great for helping repair dry skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and silky without leaving behind the greasy feeling you get with a lot of other moisturizers. It protects your skin from harsh irritants and chemicals while locking in your skin's natural moisture. It's also dermatologist-recommended and hypo-allergenic.
Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion
A shielding lotion is unlike any other conventional, artificial moisturizers because it works with the skin to naturally moisturize and heal. Most conventional, artificial moisturizers only add moisture to the surface of the skin, but do little to repair the skin’s natural barrier against moisture robbing irritants. Continued use of artificial moisturizers can cause the skin to actually begin producing less of its own natural oils, thinking that the skin has enough moisture. This can cause skin to form a dependence on the moisturizer for hydration. Skin MD Natural breaks the dry skin cycle by working to help restore skin’s natural protective abilities by bonding to the outer layer of skin, strengthening skins natural barrier against toxins and irritants that can dry the skin, while locking in the skin’s natural oils.

Made in the US using high quality natural ingredients, making it over 90% all natural. All ingredients are considered to be of food grade and are also on the FDA's most safe list. It is free of harmful fragrances, parabens, and colorants making it hypoallergenic. It is not tested on animals nor does it contain any animal products. I’ve used it and liked it very much. Read my review here.

This product helps prevent loss of natural oils and moisture, doesn't allow irritating substances to penetrate the skin and absorbs the part of the UV spectrum that contributes to premature skin ageing and development of skin cancers. Thanks for the great giveaway

  87. I'm a daily subscriber to this post. I'd like to try this product because I have very dry skin. This lotion says that it's different from other lotions in that it's absorbed more quickly by the skin, allowing the skin to absorb more moisture into the skin. Also says this lotion prevents harmful elements from the environment that rob the skin of moisture from doing so because this lotion forms a shield on the skin, retaining the hydration of the lotion. I've yet to find any lotion that works well on my dry skin but the theory behind this lotions sounds interesting. Thanks for a great giveaway. DLori

  88. I learned: Skin MD Natural is a new kind of face cream based on recent skin care research breakthroughs. Unlike the conventional face cream used as a moisturizing lotion, Skin MD Natural doesn't disguise dry skin and signs of aging. It provides a solution that works. It helps keep the skin thoroughly moisturized to its deepest layers, prevents dry skin and diminishes wrinkles.

Because my skin is so dry and nothing seems to help, especially in the winter, this product, with it's new system of allowing the skin to hold onto as much moisture as possible, much more than any other cream so far on the market, seems to be something I would love to try it. It would be a G-dsend to many people, including me, if it really works. I'd like to win so much that I have repeatedly submitted an entry for most of the days this contest has run. Thanks for another great giveaway and for introducing us to all these new products just hitting the market. DLori

The artificial moisturizers in conventional creams and lotions can send a signal to the moisture producing parts of your skin that enough moisture is present. Your skin then makes less of the natural moisture needed to resolve a dry skin problem. With a shielding lotion you protect your own natural oils and moisture in the skin, so it heals faster,
