Sunflower toning lotion for dry skin

If you are one of those who would like to prepare your own beauty concoctions, I’m sure you must have tried the toning lotion with grapefruit, more suited for oily skin. Now try your hand at this toning lotion with sunflower oil for dry skin.

The recipe:

Lanolin ((PURE LANOLIN, 100% Pure Australian Anhydrous Lanolin Pharmaceutical Grade 2 oz.)) – 1 cup
Sunflower oil – 1 cup
Wheat germ oil 1 tsp
Witch hazel extract – ½ cup
Sodium benzoate (or powder a Sodium Benzoate Tablet)– 1 tsp

Melt lanolin in a pan over a low flame and stir in sunflower oil. Remove from the heat and stir in wheat germ oil and witch-hazel with sodium benzoate. Bottle and refrigerate and then massage a little on the face and neck at bedtime. This delicate and mild lotion refreshes your dry sallow skin.
