BO-RING! I find mediocrity to be boring. I find mediocre people to be boring as well, but sometimes those people tend to be the voices of reason, the glue that holds things together, that keep the exciting fun people, like us, from making the atmosphere too damn party (especially at work).
My life is somewhat mediocre, but I am definitely not. Just do you and bulldoze where ya have to and slow down when necessary, but not to where it compromises who you are.

If you are going to do something do it the very best you can. What you do is what others see and remember about you. Do it right the first time. One way to piss off everyone is when they have to come re-do something that you were supposed to do in the first place. If you don't know, find out. This goes for everything, even a question by some one else. Especially your employer. don't ever just say, I don't know and stand there looking stupid. Tell them you will find out and get back to them. See a task through.Don't just stop and say that's good enough, some one else can finish. You will be hated by everyone who has to finish what you start and leave behind. The most important of all - Attitude! You need to maintain a good attitude. Everyone has a bad day, but some have a bad day every week and that is not good at all.
