It is not necessary to go to expensive beauty parlours or buy expensive creams and lotions to acquire a blemish free & clear complexion. A few homemade remedies are provided below which will serve the purpose equally well. Hope this will benefit the readers.
1. Always wash your face with mild soap so that the pores breathe fresh air. For a clear and attractive skin mix besan, turmeric (haldi), lemon and milk together. Make a paste. Apply it on the face. Let it dry. Wash with clean water. Wipe your face with a soft towel and pat it dry.
2. Rub a rind of lemon over your face if you have an oily skin and this will lessen grease and whiten your complexion.
3. To give velvet smoothness to your skin, just throw in a little starch to the water of our bath.
4. To avoid blemishes, drink first thing every morning a glass of carrot juice.
5. An effective treatment to clear complexions is the mixture of besan with cucumber juice rubbed over the face, neck & arms.
6. Tomatoes cut in half and rubbed over the face are useful for toning up & whitening the skin.
7. An occasional face pack of ice is a good tonic for the complexion.
8. Mixing equal quantities of lime & cucumber juice and applying to the face is also beneficial. It acts as astringent & bleaches the skin.
9. A simple recipe for blemish free skin is as follows:
50 gms channa dal (besan)
10 gms. Fenugreek (Methi) seeds
2 tbsp of turmeric powder
Powder the above and store it in a container. Use a little of this powder mixed with milk cream and wash the face daily with this instead of soap.
10. Chop banana skin and prepare a pulp with milk or curd. Apply on face.
11. Apply a mixture of 2 teaspoons of buttermilk & a few drops of almond oil & rose water on face & neck for nearly half an hour. Then wash it off.
12. A mixture of rice flour and milk applied on the face acts as a good facial.
13. A mixture of masuri dal (red lentils) and curds applied on the face for about 20 minutes imparts freshness to the face. Also check this Homemade Masoor Dal Face Scrub.

apart from waxing you do facials, manicures and pedicures, eyelash and eyebrow tinting. the thing with waxing is it is painful and a bit embarrasing at times, but the good thing is you only practise on each other for a while then when your practicing on clients you dont have to have it done, on the other hand maybe its a good idea to decide now if this is what you want to do, because if you go up to level 3 you start doing epilation which is removing hairs with a needle an electrical current, a lot more painful than waxing, hope ive helped, ive given an honest view.

ReplyDeleteUse any natural oil and massage over and over again with a quite strong, vigorous motion. You may be hesitant about doing it vigorously but see my many Best Answers(skin conditions, spots, marks, scars, etc ) and glowing reports from users (some reported spots gone in a week) Use a "forward and back" action not a circular one and use finger tips or sides and front of fingers depending where on face you massage. You can make it more vigorous and can massage for longer as you progress 30 min session(can do in two sessions) gives best and quickest results. The massaging friction literally rubs them away and In 2 - 4 days you should see the spots greatly diminished - depending on how vigorously/how long you have made the massage. It also gives skin a radiantly healthy glow and tightens it. You will not need to use any other treatment. Oils are natural moisturizers so you will not need to use any others. Try it - you will be happy that you did! It really works!
ReplyDeleteuse natural clay masc 2x a week for 2 weeks then maintenance 1x a week. Use noxema to wash face. The clay will clean pores and dry up oily skin. But when used regulary after a while it can leave skin too dry. The noxema will help the skin stay the right PH. Once you have done this for 3-4 weeks and the acne sores heal, then 1x a month u can use a micro exfoliant after a mud mask but before noxema cleanse. Use the noxema to wash the face daily one time in morning and one time before bed. You can also use the noxema to remove makeup. It is recommended that you keep makeup/cosmetics to a minimum, eye liner/shadow mascara lipstick, no powder, base foundation blush etc.
ReplyDeleteNEVER put rubbing alcohol on your skin. That's for cleaning equipment, not skin. Too harsh! Heat (like a hot washcloth) brings pimples to a head more quickly, and they do need to be "ready" before popping them. You shouldn't pop them, but everyone does...can't help it. Only wash your face twice a day, or when it's dirty, because over washing it will actually give you MORE pimples. Before going to bed, crush an aspirin, add a little water to make a paste, and put that on your pimples like a mask. This is cheap and effective.
ReplyDeleteAs to the one that's not healing...Just leave it alone. Don't touch it, or it will get worse. If it's not infected, let it heal on its own. It will go away quickly as long as you don't mess with it. DON'T PICK!
I have really dry elbows, and I use a very heavy moisturizer there. On my face I use a mild exfoliating face wash and a light moisturizer, and it really helps---you want to go easy on the makeup for a bit, it helps to make your face break out. Try a good facial scrub regularly (morning or evening, but not both) and a light moisturizer. You want to be careful about the amount of moisturizer you use, because your skin will stop producing its own moisture of you use it too much.
ReplyDeleteHormones can do some crazy things. I believe the best thing for you to do for your skin is to cleanse and moisturise daily, exfoliate twice per week and maybe try a serum with ingredients like 'O Cosmedics, Potent Clearing Serum', it contains Salicylic acid and Lactic acid, these ingredients will exfoliate and hydrate your skin, correct the breakouts and help you get that soft smooth skin again. And even with your sensitive skin, the ingredients in this product are chiral correct, Which means that it contains only the molecules with the ability to give the desired results, leaving out the reactive part of the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with the skin around your eye area. It can be quite sensitive so no exfoliating around there!
Also try Inika mineral foundation, it has great coverage, only has 4 ingredients (completely mineral) and the zinc that is contained in the foundation will actually help with your break out too.
if your face gets too dry, that can cause blemishes too, because pimple is technically just a local infection, so that means that an area became too irritated.(wich mean you shouldnt wash you face too much) also we learned that if you was with a cream with silicic acid, then put a cream with benzoeic acid helps. oh, and always moisturize. and of course, dont let oils accumulate on your face. it clogs you pores, adn dont mess with your face with dirty hands. wash em. lol.
ReplyDeleteWater water water....Drink it!...LOTS of it...at LEAST 2 liters every day....That is by far the best thing you can do for your skin!...From the inside out far outways anything you glop on!
ReplyDeleteBlend cucumber and make a paste. Apply this as a mask on your face and leave it for 1/2 hour and then rinse. This refreshes your skin and prevents acne.

ReplyDeleteApply lemon on blemish affected areas and rub with garlic. This is another useful remedy for treating blemishes at home.
ReplyDeleteRub banana and papaya peel on the blemishes and rinse with cold water after 15 minutes. This lowers skin tone and blemishes
ReplyDeleteapply skin bleaching cream daily and really helps lighten those dark areas. You could also use a cream that is used for dark/ aging spots on the face in those areas. It's best to visit a dermatologist. They will give you all the options and prescribe the best products.

Use a 'cream bar' or 'cream body wash', rather than soap.

ReplyDeleteI have dry, sensitive, blemish prone skin. I'm in my late 20's with severe environmental allergies and mild acne. I cannot use Benzoyl Peroxide as it's too irritating and actually makes my skin swell. Retinol, AHA and BHA are the only OTC products I can use without breaking out. Now, I ONLY USE the Lady Soma Renewal Serum!! Its not hard on my skin and I've noticed my acne clearing since I've started using it.
